Review of The 5 Greatest Warriors by Matthew Reilly

Yay for Matthew Reilly! After the jaw dropping cliff hanger ending to The 6 Sacred Stones,The 5 Greatest Warriorspicks up right where we left off and runs full out from there. Was there ever really any doubt that Jack West Jr. would survive? Of course not! There wouldn’t be a story without him.

After placing the first two sacred stones in a bid to save the world from the Dark Star, there are four left to go and lots of competition to find and place the missing remaining ones. Jack and his team will face greater perils, greater betrayals, bigger mysteries and new enemies as they race against more than time. I’m sorry to tell you, not everyone will make it out alive, but the spectacular story telling and edge of your seat ending will more than make up for it.

I don’t want to give too much of the story away. You have to read it with fresh eyes to really appreciate it. Matthew Reilly continually proves to me why he’s worthy of being one of my favorite authors, not to mention a international best selling author. If you haven’t read him yet, well, don’t start with this book. At least go back to Seven Deadly Wonders, where Jack West’s story starts. Don’t forget to treat yourself to his earlier books too and get to know the Scarecrow.
