Review of All Pets Go To Heaven by Sylvia Browne

In Sylvia Browne’s latest book, All Pets Go To Heaven, she tells us what happens to our beloved pets, and all animals, when they pass away. As the title of the book implies, all animals pass over to the Other Side immediately when they die because unlike human beings, their souls are pure. If you’ve read any of Sylvia’s other books, you also know that animals don’t reincarnate and that all of your pets are waiting for you on the Other Side when you pass away.

The main point of the book is that animals think and feel the same way we humans do. Pets especially depend on us for their care and safekeeping and all too often people don’t do a very good job of it. Those people should just admit they’re not cut out to own a pet and find it another loving home or bring it to a rescue. This is my personal opinion. And truthfully, for all you pet owners out there, doesn’t your dog or cat treat you better than some people who are supposed to be your friends? They don’t put conditions on the love they give us and they’re always happy to see you, even if you just left the house and came back in because you forgot something.

You don’t have to believe what Sylvia says if you don’t want to, but I myself lost a 15 year old dog in 1996 to old age. T was my baby and I miss her dearly even to this day. When I first moved to New Hampshire in 2000 and was here all by myself, I would often dream of T and I think that was her way of letting me know I wasn’t alone.

I think this book is a comfort for anyone who’s lost a pet, just as Sylvia’s other books are a great comfort for when you lose a human loved one.
